ACS488   Aerospace Individual Investigative Project   (40 credits)

Description

The individual project gives students the opportunity to apply the knowledge and skills they have gained during the first three years of hte course to a specific task or problem relevant to their chosen stream. Students are required to devlop and to demonstrate an ability to (a) take responsibility for hte organisation, management and technical progress of a project; (b) apply engineering principles to a practical project; (c) present, in the form of a substantial project dissertation and a colloquium, a concise account of the work carried out and its significance. This dissertation and presentation is expected to be at a professional level.
